Maximum Gift Aid claim amount
You can set a maximum Gift Aid amount for a claim. This helps when you want to cap how much Gift Aid is included in this submission.
Where the default comes from
Charity Details can hold a default maximum. On the claim screen you can:
- Keep the default
- Change the limit for this claim only
- Leave the field blank for no amount limit on this claim
If no donations fit within the maximum
GiftAider will tell you that no donations fit within the maximum Gift Aid amount for this claim. Try a higher limit, or clear the limit, then evaluate again.
Notes
- Some values may be set by the server and cannot be changed for a particular claim — the screen will say so when that applies.
- Clearing or changing the limit can change the claim figures. If you had already signed, you may need to confirm, prepare, and sign again.
