Orchard MDB migration to GiftAider Breeze
For Orchard migrations to GiftAider Breeze, GiftAider works from the full Orchard .mdb database and imports the agreed donor and donation data after confirming that valid declaration evidence is held in the source records.
Process
- Provide the Orchard .mdb database securely.
- GiftAider reviews the database structure.
- Useful donor and donation fields are extracted.
- Declaration evidence is checked in the source data, but declarations are not managed inside Breeze.
- Fields are mapped into GiftAider Breeze.
- A test import is reviewed.
- Validation issues are checked before first-claim work.

GiftAider Breeze is for claim-ready donor and donation data where valid declaration evidence is already held by the charity. This support article is about the Breeze migration route. If your charity needs custom CRM fields or required field rules, discuss GiftAider Amplify separately during onboarding.
