Migrating from Orchard to GiftAider

If your charity is moving from Orchard to GiftAider Breeze, GiftAider works from the source data and imports claim-ready donor and donation records. Declaration evidence should be checked in the Orchard data or charity records before upload, because Breeze does not manage declarations directly.

1. Export donor and organisation records.
2. Export donation history with dates and amounts.
3. Confirm valid declaration evidence is held in the source records before Breeze import.
4. Keep original IDs in the file.
5. Send a sample export for review.
6. Agree field mapping before a test import.
7. Review validation issues after import.
